Presenting a recently discovered vintage photo of Mr. Peanut cruising the north shore of the Seine, Paris France. A mere moment after this picture was snapped, the icon tried to pick up ces filles françaises by using his limited knowledge of the local language. But instead of the snappy pick-up line, “Ladies, it’s not the size of the peanut”, he erroneously said “May I swath you in butter?” Mr. Peanut’s monocle, spats, top hat and cane were confiscated and he promptly found overnight lodgings in the local poste de police.
